The Digital Team sits within the Marketing Department and consists of 9 individuals across web development, copy writing and digital marketing. As one of two Lead Developers, you will lead the maintenance and development of a number of our main websites and their related projects and applications. You will help lead our technical development and be responsible for demonstrating high standards of secure and compliant coding. You will liaise with the Digital Manager and the rest of the team to facilitate daily goals and long term project aims, contributing ideas and innovation to move those forward. You will also have the opportunity to mentor, train and develop other members of the team as appropriate.

What we are looking for

-Educated to degree level or equivalent with substantial experience within commercial web development

-Ability to manage and take ownership of projects: gather requirements and manage project lifecycle from start to release

-Excellent communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines

-Expert user of ASP.NET 4.0 / 4.5, C#, AJAX, SQL Server, Visual Studio

-Solid understanding of OOP

-Good experience using WCF, Web services, XML, J Query, and JavaScript

-Ability to offer leadership and guidance, good motivator and competent at adapting style to communication need

-Ability to build good relationships with customers and manage their needs and expectations

-35 hours per week, working on a flexible basis

-Competitive salary starting from £35,000 depending on skills and experience

-Town and lunch allowance of £1,502 on top of your basic salary

-25 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays

-Contributory personal pension, employees contribute a minimum of 2.5% and DAS will contribute 6%
