3x Application Support Engineers, £35,000 - Bristol

Computer Futures currently require three Application Support Engineers for a well established Bristol client, with their product and services sold to over 700 businesses.

The successful applicants will be given the opportunity to work alongside passionate & dedicated Support Engineers, who deliver fantastic technical support and assist in project delivery across the business.

Daily responsibilities for candidates will include:

* Implementing system configuration changes

* Carry out application installations

* Resolve system defects

* Manage, resolve and escalate support tickets appropriately

* Liaising directly with customers to support issue resolution

* Resolving support issues escalated from 1st line support.

* Working with the development team to report bugs and communicate customer enhancement requests.

* Carrying out application installations and upgrades including validation ("smoke tests") and resolution of regression issues.

* Assisting with customer change requests

Technical Experience:

* Working with SQL Server databases in a 2nd-line support role.

* Application configuration with IIS 7/Windows Server 2008

* Working in a support team to manage support issues against specific SLAs.

* Experience with Active Directory (specifically user/group management)

* SQL Server 2008 and later (with experience of writing T-SQL queries)

* MS Office

* SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
