Process Engineer

A Process Engineer is urgently required for my client who is a Tier one automotive manufacturer based in the West Midlands. The current requirement for a Process Engineer on a contract basis is to commence immediately for 6 months.

Role:

- Define the process that the company will use to engineer a part, to enable Quality to define the controls for manufacturing

- Create the process and communication to CAD

- Working on Assembly inspection and fixtures

- Reporting to the Design and Engineering Director

Required Experience:

- Minimum 3 years in a similar role

- Understanding of: Assembly process, stamped components, adhesive parts, BIW, sheet metal work, tooling, assemblies, pressings, fixings, parts and welding

- Experience of carrying out investigations, route cards, process sheets/flows

- CAD knowledge (desirable) Catia v5
