The positions on offer include Senior Cyber Engineers, who act as technical experts and may take on a team or technical leadership role.

Requirements

-A good communicator, you will be tenacious and quick-learning ' ready to persevere when problems seem unsolvable, and to find innovative solutions that others miss. You'll be keen to take responsibility, grapple with the latest technology threats and learn the techniques we use to solve unique problems.

-It's important that you have knowledge, understanding and practical skills in at least one programming language, and a desire to learn new programming languages.

-You also need to have, or expect, a relevant degree in a Technical or Scientific field. Or you must experience in at least ONE of the following areas:

Programming / Computers and computer networks / Operating systems / Telecommunications systems / IT and Network Security

Although most positions are full-time, GCHQ values a diverse workforce and has staff working a variety of working patterns including part-time, compressed hours and job-share.
