Senior Support Engineer - 3rd Line - Systems - Birmingham

£25,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience) + Car and Excellent Benefits

*** This is a Home Working Role and you are required to live in the West Midlands area, ideally between Birmingham and Lutterworth. ***

Senior Support Engineer /Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Engineer with experience supporting a Windows environment with all round infrastructure and systems experience including, servers, storage, virtualisation, Lync Server and Cisco networking is required by my client based in Birmingham. A full driving licence is required as this is a home based role where you will be required to travel to client sites in around the West Midlands area.

As a Senior Support Engineer / 3rd Line Engineer you should be confident supporting a Windows environment. You should be extremely confident supporting Windows servers, Exchange, Virtualisation including VMware, Hyper-V, Vsphere and Active Directory. It is beneficial if you already have experience working for a solutions company supporting SME's with users between 100-1000. My client is looking for someone who is an all-rounder who can work as part of the escalations team managing the servers, providing scheduled maintenance, installations and getting involved in project work. You will be confident in doing the install, configuration, migrations and back ups.

- Active Directory - Group Policies

- VMware - Vsphere / Hyper-V

- Citrix XenAPP / Xenserver

- SAN / Netapp storage, Open-E

- Cisco - R&S, Wireless

- Lync Server

- Office 365
