Joining our National Delivery Service at a time of exciting change, you'll be at the heart of our success. Here, logistics experts coordinate the delivery of the products and machinery which keep the railway running, all around the country. Right now, we're implementing a new Fleet Asset Management System, which will make a huge difference to our approach.

As a key member of the Business Systems team, you'll enjoy a varied remit focused on business process change, system configuration, report design, business impact and communication to diverse departments. What's more, you'll help to design system improvements and play a part in supporting end users. From front-end configuration through to report development, you will utilise SQL/Oracle in most of your work. Helping to review and implement processes and system functions, and proactively identifying training opportunities, you'll build relationships with, and win the engagement of, a range of people ' from your specialist colleagues, through to the business community and key stakeholders.

You'll bring to the role knowledge and experience spanning relational database structure and design, web design, database design, PHP & HTML, the development of management and reporting systems, and the development of internet and intranet sites. Ideally, you'll also be familiar with Asset Management Systems, the Business Intelligence Reporting Tool and project/programme management software. You'll certainly demonstrate good communication skills and a commitment to customers.
