A global CRO are looking for a Contracts Manager for a 6 months contract to join their team ASAP. You can be based anywhere in the UK as they will be open to the role being fully home based should you require.

Job Description

- Reviews Contract Services' policies and procedures and provides input to management;

- Work closely with the Head of Contract Services to develop new MSA, Subcontracting Agreement, CDA and LoI templates; adapt templates for EU purposes;

- Identify issues associated with departmental processes, provide recommendations and assist with the implementation of corrective actions;

- Support global integration processes and building of a global Contract Services department;

- Analyze the legal and business obligations set forth within corporate contractual agreements; responsible for elevating any potentially controversial or unfavorable language to the Director, Contract Services for preliminarily review to determine if the business decision requires Executive Management review and/or if legal counsel is required to review the legal provisions;

- Responsible for ensuring contract management skills are applied to all negotiated corporate contract types such that corporate contractual, financial and legal goals are met. Identify and ensure contractual risks are minimized.

- Take leadership role for resolving significant contractual issues and, if needed, ensure timely elevation to Executive Management and/or legal counsel;

- Prepare Contract Services slides for bid defense presentations; enters sales and marketing agreement data into SalesForce;

- Assist in the preparation of Change in Scope documents;

Essential

- Experience in a similar role within a CRO preferably or pharma and biotech.

Experience of a legal background would be beneficial
