A brand new opportunity has been created within an award winning IT Solutions provider based in Manchester. My client is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to assist the Technical Services Manager and his work load on a day to day basis.
This is going to be a challenging and diverse role for the right individual, it will involve elements of technical support (desktop, helpdesk and network), Helpdesk Management, service delivery, team mentoring, some customer facing responsibilities and adhoc project work as decided by the Technical Services Manager.
We are ideally looking for a presentable individual with good communication skills, team leading abilities, the ability to think out of the box when presented with business related issues / bottlenecks and ideally have good knowledge of Microsoft systems, and perhaps be familiar with other areas of IT such as Novell, Citrix, Cisco etc etc.
Primarily we need a hardworking and enthusiastic individual whom, with the guidance of the Services Manager can ensure the smooth running of the technical services division of the company.
It's a great opportunity for a motivated, confident and ambitious individual.
