This global organisation is a leading provider of telecommunication and IT Solutions, with a reputation for successful delivery and providing high quality solutions they have a brand new opportunity for a Cisco Network Engineer to take on a pivotal role within the organisation. You will be working on one of the worlds largest Microsoft programmes, as part if a highly skilled team supporting a new managed messaging service, a significant role within this team is that of Cisco Network Engineer.
The successful Cisco Network Engineer will be responsible for providing proactive day to day management and support of the routers, firewalls and backup systems, proactively managing, resolving and tracking issues, creating test network solutions in the lab environment and providing input into the estimation and scheduling of implementation activities.
You should have a broad range of technical expertise which will include Cisco Routing / Switching, experience building resilient TCP/ IP networks inc. Firewall and VPN Technologies, Gigabit Networking, Performance / Fault Monitoring, good working knowledge of Cisco IOS and Hardware and WAN/ LAN technologies amongst others. You should also be CCNP/ CCIP qualified or have the relevant expertise.
