Our client, a truly global blue chip FMCG organisation, requires an IT Operations Manager to join their Europe IT Services team based near Chester, Cheshire.
Core remit is to manage and lead operational support teams delivering expert technical services and support as part of the European Infrastructure. The role will be managing up to 30 people with direct reports from team leaders and technical leads from the various support teams (SAP, Unix, Linux, Wintel, Tivoli). The role reports directly into the Enterprise Hosting Manager. Environment - (40,000 internal users across 350 sites / + one of worlds largest SAP and SAN installations).
We are keen to hear from experienced Managers with experience encompassing most of the above remit in a large, complex IT environment ideally global organisation. A strong understanding of ITIL and experience of infrastructure technologies notably Unix and Wintel is also required.
Starting salary of upto £42,500 + substantial bonus + benefits.
