Overall Purpose of the post for quantity surveyor:
To provide a comprehensive, accurate and cost effective service for our client.

Summary of duties quantity surveyor / associate quantity surveyor:
The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with a Partner in the London office, the key responsibility will be to take a lead role on a major mixed-use regeneration scheme in Central London. The ideal quantity surveyor/ associate quantity surveyor will need excellent client facing skills and will be required to take an overview on a number of individual projects within the large scale, long term delivery of the masterplan development together with acting as project leader on some of these projects.Man management skills and the ability to manage an in-house team comprising cost consultants from assistant to Associate level will be essential.This role offers the successful quantity surveyor/ associate a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role on one of Europe's largest and most high profile projects and the opportunity to progress to Partner in a leading international Property and Construction Consultancy organisation.

Experience for Associate Quantity Surveyor:
A minimum requirement of 5 years plus chartered status or up to 7 years equivalent relevant cost management experience.However we will look at candidates with less experience provided this experience to date is sufficiently relevant.A driven, self motivated and ambitious individual with the technical ability and integrity to deliver first class Cost Consultancy services is essential, therefore a strong individual comfortable at operating on major projects from inception through to successful completion is required.The successful candidate is likely to be currently performing a similar role in a major cost consultancy organisation and have commercially related experience based around mixed use, office, residential and masterplanning experience.

Qualifications for Associate Quantity Surveyor:
Ideally a degree in a “built environment” subject and/ or a relevant professional qualification, typically: MRICS, MAPM, MICE, MCIOB, or equivalent.
