My client have a requirement for a SQL Analyst / Web Programmer to join an award winning organisation based in Bristol.
The position will focus heavily on SQL analysis and reporting using Excel Vbscript to distribute the reports in real time. There is also a requirement to be able to build integration between SQL databases and applications. Our client users Lotus Domino for their webservers so the integration of Domino, open source CMS and SQL is also important and this is where the XML transfers become essential.

The objectives of the role are to:
Build a Reporting Service to the organisation that allows visibility of performance in a real time mode.
Provide a monthly KPI reporting service extracting data from repositories built in SQL and Lotus Databases.
Provide an on-demand reporting service extracting data from repositories built in SQL and Lotus Databases.
The following skills would be advantageous:
Systems administration of a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) environment
HTML / CSS / Javascript (including AJAX)
Web application development using Object Orientated Design
Knowledge of Linux
