This is an exciting opportunity to join a $multi billion telecoms organisation with a clear lead in the market in terms of credibility with some of the largest wholesale customers Globally, they also own and manage first class Transmission, IP, voice and data network infrastructure which is relied upon by many leading telecoms brands across the globe.

The Opportunity (ref 7484)
Due to continued growth in the market my client is looking to hire an experienced NOC Engineer 2nd/ 3rd Level support Engineer on Transmission, SDH, DWDM and SONET networks. Reporting to the Customer Provisioning Manager, you will project manage, design, test and deliver European and transatlantic customer transport (Transmission) DWDM, SDH, and SONET orders across the global network. As a hands on specialist in transport systems you will also provide support to sales engineers, manage escalations and fault resolution. This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £41,000 pa based in London.

The person

·NOC Engineer 2nd/ 3rd level support
·Experience of Alcatel/ Nortel/ Infenera equipment
·Thorough understanding of DWDM/ SDH/ SONET/ PDH principles
·Fault resolution (ideally customer facing/ NOC background)
