My client is a medium sized organisation based in South Manchester and they're looking for an experienced Desktop Support Technician to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in an IT Support environment or IT helpdesk delivering first line desktop support.
Any knowledge of backup solutions, desktop support, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Server technologies, MS SQL Server, Exchange or networking would be advantageous. MCSE qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
Key Job Roles Include:
· Provide Desktop Support to employees at the South Manchester office
· Manage backup solution including rotation of backup media
· Manage user access to applications
· Update status of support calls within Helpdesk database
· Assist other office IT Support Team/ s with remote administration at South Manchester office
