Leading UK Online retailer are looking to expand their IT capabilities inline with the massive growth being experienced by the UK online fashion sales industry.
To this end they need 2 highly skilled C#/ .Net developers with experience working on real-time systems to join their eCommerce team.
This is one of the booming industries in the UK at a time when many markets are shrinking, as such the expectation on candidates coming in is for technically very strong analyst programmers, with a strong academic profile and a recent history of working for a leading UK organisation in a similar C#/ .Net development role with the following background experience:
•Minimum of 3 years commercial software development experience using Microsoft .Net and VB.net/ C#.net
•Minimum of 3 years commercial experience using SQL server and T-SQL
•Experience in developing applications for MS Windows is essential
•Competent in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and Visio
•Knowledge of Object Orientated Analysis and Design, UML and design patterns
•Working knowledge of SQL and experience of developing databases.
•A good understanding of the principles of database design and the associated challenges of database focused software engineering
The team is still relatively small giving candidates an ideal platform to get full lifecycle exposure, dealing directly with their users and building one of the industries leading online offerings.
