My client, a leading Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf is looking for a Web Support Specialist to join their team.
Skills/ Experience required:
Proven track record working within a Web Infrastructure environment; strong technical ability within the following areas: Windows 2000/ 2003; IIS 5/ 6/ 7; Apache/ Tomcat; Sharepoint; any programming skills highly beneficial; experience working within the financial sector desirable but not essential; Previous team leadership would also be advantageous.
Responsibilities will include:
Looking after all Web Support issues that arise including troubleshooting, support and maintenance; taking responsibility for Web Infrastructure projects and seeing them through to resolution; installing, monitoring and supporting standard scripted NT web server builds; liaising closely with Firewall and Security teams on a regular basis; working closely with Application Engineering & Development teams in creating new solutions for the Web Server environment; and more.
