An excellent opportunity has arisen for the right .Net, VB.Net, PI Systems Engineer, with one of the world`s leading oil and gas exploration companies, based in Aberdeen. We are seeking to employ PI Systems Engineers with .Net experience for Realtime Information Systems, ideally with experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry.
The successful .Net, VB.Net, PI Systems Engineer will be part of a team working on the delivery of service contracts on customer sites. The principal technology used within these Realtime Information Management Systems by the .Net, VB.Net, PI Systems Engineer is OSISoft?s PI System, so experience of both PI and data collection interfaces would be essential.
The successful .Net, VB.Net, PI Systems Engineer would have skills and experience with:
- .Net, VB.Net, SQL Server Development
- PI System Experience
- OSISoft Training Course: PI System Manager 1 Desirable
- Experience with SCADA DCS, RTU or PLC
Experience and knowledge of the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry would be advantageous but not necessary, for the .Net, VB.Net, PI Systems Engineer. Excellent customer facing skills would be a must however, as the company is a world leader, with many high-end clients.

The position is mainly office based out of Aberdeen, but it will include site working and possibly offshore. Experience of such would be preferred, but not essential.
