This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served maintenance engineer (mechanical bias) to join a highly reputable and established manufacturing organisation as part of their thriving maintenance function. The main purpose of the role will be to undertake line improvements, routine maintenance, fault finding, line breakdowns etc in order to ensure the effective utilisation of the line and maximise efficiency.
Other responsibilities include:
§Ensure planned maintenance program is carried out.
§Identify and order spare parts as and when required.
§Identify the cause of quality defects and ensure the issue is resolved satisfactorily.§Deliver line improvement projects.
§Support line personnel
§General installation work
The successful candidate will hold a relevant engineering qualification and have experience in a similar FMCG production environment. Good communication and problem solving skills are essential, along with a great team-working ethic.
