The role is described below, however essentially you will beed strong Project Management background - specifically managing Peoplesoft Financial (v8) projects.
- Determines the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule
- Develops and/ or reviews estimates and assumptions for the project's schedule, effort, and cost using established estimation models, best practices, and past experience
- Defines team member roles and responsibilities
- Ensures the project team members receive necessary training
- Measures and monitors progress at milestone to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
- Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary
- Develops, implements, and maintains the Planning, including the configuration management, risk management, issue management, and communication plans
- Ensures that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members
- Manages relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
- Reviews and manages all changes to the requirements through a formally defined scope change process
Mandatory experience:
- Management skills and strong PeopleSoft experience.
- Ability to manage all aspects of the project, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing financial management activities
- Ability to document and communicate the status of project progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
- Ability to define, implement, and maintain project process guidance (e.g., project plan and subordinate plans), tailoring organizational processes as needed.
- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards.
