This will include, but not be limited to, process mapping & documentation of Service Management processes within the ITIL framework, workshop co-ordination & facilitation, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, functional specification, data analysis and architecture development, test planning, preparation and execution, and co-ordination of system rollouts. Additionally, the role may support the Project and Business Analysis team managers in project planning, initiation, tracking and delivery activities.
Main Duties :
• Liaise with external Business and IT teams to define & document Service Management process maps within the Business, define detailed process steps & process inputs/ outputs. Significant stakeholder management is expected.
• Liaise with external Business and IT teams to gather and define detailed requirements and functional specifications for required changes to the IT Service Management tools.
• Contribute to & co-ordinate system implementations through the project lifecycle (analysis / design, testing, rollout and hand-over) working with other teams on a local and global basis.
• Manage multiple, personal workstreams in parallel.
• Liaise with Business and IT project management to assist in the initiation, planning, tracking and delivery of projects and workstreams.
• Support the management of project workstreams to lead, guide and assist other team members, ensure quality and timeliness of delivery and assist in use and enhancement of team methodologies.
• Ensure all work meets prescribed standards in design and quality.
• Document all work and communications to a high professional standard
Experience Required: Proven business analysis experience.
This should have included the following:
• Preparation for and facilitation of workshops involving a large number of stakeholders
• Requirements gathering, analysis and functional design using a recognised methodology.
• Process flow analysis & design
• Data flow analysis, understanding data structures and relationships
• Writing Business & Technical documentation.
• End-to-end lifecycle experience of systems development & implementation projects
• Multi-tasking / balancing parallel workloads
• Basic Project management skills
• Managing a large stakeholder group
• Requirements gathering, analysis & functional design using a recognised methodology, preferably UML.
• Workflow/ Process flow analysis & design,
• Detailed data analysis & data architecture experience
• Writing Business & Technical documentation
• End-to-end lifecycle experience of enterprise systems development & implementation projects
• Experience in defining and/ or implementing an end to end ITIL process and underlying toolset in a global blue chip organisation
