The Mobile Test Engineer IOT works as a member of our clients technical support / helpdesk organization. An integral part of this role is the inter-operability testing of new mobile phones concerning our Mobile Gateway and Mobile Backup products. This role will encompass research and analysis of configurations and provisioning data to broaden the supported number of mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
Fluency in English and German
Minimum of three years experience in the mobile and telecommunications industry
Quick learner with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal, mostly phone and email)
Calm, stress-resistant, open, and friendly personality
Structured and conscientious
Motivated team player
The ability to hit the ground running
Essential Skills
Work experience on Linux / UNIX, Sun Solaris
Experienced with several mobile phone types and versions concerning data services
Strong experience with mobile email using built-in email client applications of mobile devices
Advantageous Skills
Knowledge of wireless synchronization using SyncML (OMA DS) and OMA DM
Experience using issue tracking systems (case / ticket-based)
