AMS IC / SERDES Design Engineer with strong Analogue IC, Mixed Signal IC, ASIC, SERDES, PLL, CDR, Serialiser, Deserialiser expertise required for a role in the South West. My client is seeking to build its SERDES design team and to secure funding for the development and launch of an innovative interface bus. You will be designing high-performance SERDES to advance the technology solutions in this market. You will be:

-Designing and verifying sophisticated mixed-signal analogue blocks for high-speed SERDES, i.e. PLL, CDR etc.
-Contribute to chip and block-level architecture;
-Developing circuit schematics
-Assisting in architecture, layout, integration, bring-up, post silicon debugging & characterization;

Strong experience with analogue circuit design, mostly in high-speed and low-jitter SERDES is essential for this role and familiarity with analogue / mixed signal circuit design flow is a must. Experience designing high-speed analogue circuits (> 6.5Ghz) such as PLL, VCO, CDR, SERDES, equalizer is also essential.
