Project Manager – FMCG – Retail – Contract – London
FMCG client looking for dynamic, confident and experienced Project Manager that is dedicated and committed to deliver and wants to be part of a dynamic organisation.
This will be a rewarding and exciting opportunity for the right Project Manager.
This FMCG client is a leading Supermarket chain who currently has contract positions for two experienced Project Managers with good Project Management skills as well as an FMCG background.
The role is to be part of a team to in-source the provision of Retail Management Systems. This FMCG client needs to build its skills base to facilitate a smooth transition.
The successful Project Manager must have the following experience:
Retail Supply Chain Experience, working within a leading supermarket or from an FMCG background within the Head Office national retailer environment,
Experience of Retail Management Systems ( Merchandising, Demand Forecasting , Reporting ,Warehouse and Store Replenishment),
Experience of Retail Management Systems deployment would be an advantage,
Significant experience of Business Process Mapping and Re-engineering,
Good all round experience and understanding of the retail sector.
The Project Manager will have the following skills set:
A demonstrable record of leading IT projects in the retail FMCG sector,
Knowledge and experience of business process re-engineering,
Good understanding of Change Management,
Prince 2 Methodology and Structure,
Competent in communicating on a technical level as well as business commercial level,
Some technical knowledge would be preferable of DB2, SQL and Oracle.
The Project Manager must be self motivated, hands on and a self starter that can hit the ground running.
For the successful Project Manager, this FMCG client is offering market rates and an immediate start with a 3 month rolling contract.
