Within this role you will have the opportunity to progress your career and expertise by doing a combination of on the job training and certification courses all paid for by the company.
Role Purpose And Skills Required
To implement a data warehouse system that is scalable, robust and high performing.
Demonstrates and applies knowledge of DB Design, DB Admin, System integration, Modelling techniques, Knowledge gained through exposure to data warehouses built using Ralph Kimball's methods, Data warehouse concepts and techniques (ETL, staging, performance tuning etc), Documentation skills – requirements gathering and creation of specifications, Reconciliation.
SQL Server 2000/ 2005
Transact-SQL
DTS/ SSIS
Analysis Services
Reporting Services
Visual Studio.Net (ideally Visual Basic.Net)
Coda or any other ledger system
