CAD Programmer (RADAN/ 2D Programming), Huddersfield
CAD Programmer with experience of programming CAD drawings using RADAN software required to join this established Huddersfield based manufacturer. Due to a steady increase in business our client are looking to recruit a designer to work on a contract to permanent basis at their head office within the existing CAD team.
You will be primarily responsible for translating customer requests into programmable drawings programming CNC punch press in RADAN. With a background in CAD you must have experience of using the RADAN software suite specifically, and will have worked in the manufacturing industry in a CAD based programming/ design role. You must also be au fait with 2D programming, having prior experience of 2D programming within a previous job. You will also be expected to interpret and produce engineering drawings to be sent to clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD professional to join a privately owned company as part of a small and buoyant team. You will be an integral part of client operations and have the opportunity to develop in an expanding industry niche. This post will commence on a contract/ temporary basis of around 3 months at 40 hours per week, however there is a strong possibility that our client will extend work to a permanent contract thereafter at a basic salary of £23,000 – 27,000 + package.
