Skills
·XHTML, CSS - Expert
·Javascript - AJAX and DOM programming - Expert
·Actionscript, Flash integration - Advanced
·Backend integration (platform of choice) - Advanced
·Expertise in, or knowledge of at least one of Python, PHP, .Net, etc
Main Tasks
·Design and development of browser front-ends in XHTML, Javascript, Flash, Actionscript.
·Integration with back-end systems using templating technology (notably Django)
·Ensure strict adherence to existing Industry Standards and help set internal standards
·Work with Designers to ensure their output is ready for implementation
·Assist and inspire the other members of the development and design team
Experience is considered to be more important than Academic qualifications. Immersed and active in internet culture. Has an understanding of the principles of branded communication.
With keen interest in emerging trends in development, design & communication especially with regard to usability and interfaces.
Knowledge of current and emerging standards in accessibility and W3C guidelines is essential.
