Windows Server Support Technician / 2nd Line Support required for a new 2 month contract vacancy based in Bedford, Bedfordshire, South East.
As 2nd Line Support Technician / Server Support you will be required to provide general Windows Infrastructure Support to a small to medium group of servers, most of which are virtualised with VMWare.
Your skills should include: Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, Exchange 2007, Active Directory, Some internal wireless connectivity, Office 2003, backup and restore using Backup Exec 12, some remote access using Watchguard VPN (very limited).
You may also be required to carry out some Network Cable Connectivity/ Patching, although most of this has already been done.
