I am currently seeking a Network Engineer/ Network Consultant to work for one of our major clients in the East Midlands area. As an applicant for this Network Engineer role you will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot converged local and wide area networks with 100 to 500 or more nodes. You will have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network, as well as the installation, configuration, and operation of LAN, WAN, and dial access services for medium-to-large networks with multiple protocols. A good knowledge of IP Telephony is also necessary. An excellent knowledge of CISCO is essential including Checkpoint Firewalls (NG AI or NGX). You will be CCNA qualified or to an equivalent level.
