Main Function

Prince II qualified - essential
Reporting to the SSRM Project Manager, with primary responsiblity for tracking and management of the Project Plan and pro-active management of the Project Issues and Risks to ensure timely escalation of any potential conflicts or issues that may halt the smooth running of the project. This will include co-ordination with other project management teams on related projects using MS Project and internal PMO tools and reports.

The remaining workload will be a combination of Junior BA support to the Business Process Worksteam, support for internal communications and a small amount of project administration (Team Meeting management, Meeting Minutes and Actions as required by the Project Manager). .

Main Duties

Manage the project plan obtaining input from the Project Team and Technical Support Team as required.
Manage the Project Issues and Risks ensuring updates are made regularly and escalations occur as required to the Project Manager.
Create Highlight/ RAG reports in the internal Project Tracker tool when required, collating input from the Project Manager and other team members.
Maintain the stakeholder Intranet site and update as required with key messages.
Arrange all key project meetings, Team Meetings, Steering Groups, Workshops and focus groups
Document and publish meeting minutes where required.
Provide assistance with Testing and Training arrangements, acting as a central point of questions if required.
Assist the SSRM Project Manager and S2P Programme Manager with Stakeholder management by building strong working relationships with other project team members, stakeholders and administration contacts.
Assist in the creation of Process Maps in MS Visio and Training Materials in Powerpoint and via internal training software if required.

Person Requirements

Prior Project Support or PMO experience in a global system related project team is ideal together with experience of an Investment Banking environment but other related industry experience would be considered.
Ability to deliver results within aggressive timescales and in a busy and challenging environment.
Effective team player used to working on own initiative and with minimal direction.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Experience of Excel, Powerpoint and Word is essential as is the ability to create and manage plans in MS Project.
Some experience of MS Visio is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of SAP, P2P or other Sourcing and Finance related processes and projects would be advantageous
