Aston Carter is looking to fill the role of a Senior Network Engineer to work in a major Dublin based Internet service provider.
The role will involve leading a team of highly skilled network engineers and contribute to the design, implementation, and enhancement of the company's network infrastructure.
The roles principal responsibilities will include the research, development and implementation of new features and services for a DSL network.
Supporting other internal groups in the company by identifying their requirements and providing adequate solutions.
The candidate should have team lead experience including management of workload and prioritisation.
Experience with design and implementation of ADSL2+ services
Hands on experience on Cisco/ Juniper networking equipment
Good routing protocol troubleshooting skills (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
Knowledge of common scripting/ programming languages like PHP, Perl, Bash, C
Network certification (CCIE, CCNP, JNCIP) or equivalent training/ experience
