IBM Mainframe Platform Lead / IBM Mainframe Expert

Due to exciting new projects an IBM mainframe platform lead / expert is required to join a global telecommunications giant on a journey of technological success and constant daily challenge. This is an opportunity for an IBM Mainframe expert that is looking to really stretch themselves and have a serious challenge. This global giant is a company that has a global impact on the market, and is constantly looking to pull away from their competitors. This company prides itself on constantly delivering new services and technologies way ahead of the competition, in a timely and professional fashion.
You will be leading a team of talented technicians both on and offshore, working to achieve the consolidation and migration of enterprise level data centres. You will be working in a complete refresh environment (networks / servers / operating systems / and mainframes).You will play an instrumental part in the success of the projects and be accountable for all IBM Mainframe issues within the company. The buck will stop with you.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will consider yourself an expert in IBM mainframe, and have experience of large migration projects at an enterprise level. Ideally you will also have experience of technical architecture incorporating IBM Mainframe and would have been the technical authority. Experience of team leading both on and offshore would be advantageous.
