Tester required with an in-depth knowledge of VOIP technologies. Must have: - In depth knowledge of SIGTRAN protocols (SCTP, M3UA, SUA, M2PA) - Working knowledge of SS7 protocols one or more of ISUP, TCAP, SCCP, MTP - Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the software lifecycle process. Be able to isolate problems and report them concisely to others and drive defect resolution. Work well within a team environment, and be able to communicate at many levels across the organization. Have a working knowledge of Linux/ Unix systems (at a user level). Good to have: Experience in Catapult MGTS, Wireshark (or other industry standard protocol simulation and analysis tools) Have scripting experience, ideally in perl, or other relevant test automation experience. Have a broad understanding of the underlying IP technologies. Knowledge of Linux systems at an advanced user/ administrator level. Possess solid debugging skills.
