Fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist in central Leeds, 5 minutes walk from Leeds City Station. This important role is focused on the design and delivery of new technical solutions, involving managing a busy project workload to include research phases, R&D in order to test potential solutions, undertaking feasibility studies and making recommendations/ designs to be implemented with a team of enthusiastic and passionate IT professionals.
Ideally MCSE 2003 and either ITIL or Prince 2 certified, the successful applicant will have a strong understanding of:
Microsoft Windows XP/ Vista & Windows 2000/ 2003 Server
Microsoft Exchange 2003
Microsoft clustering technology (Exchange, SQL, Network Load Balancing)
Active Directory 2003
SQL Server 2000/ 2005
VMWare ESX Server
Storage Area Networks (SAN) & RAID configuration
MPLS IP VPN Wide Area Networks (WAN)
Internet access e.g. firewall and proxy technologies
