An Applications Support Team Leader/ Manager is needed by my client, a leading international insurance company based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. The company is experiencing a successful period of growth and has a fantastic opportunity for an Application Support Team Leader/ Application Development Team Leader to manage a team of Application Support and Systems Support Software Developers in a leading edge technology and process driven environment.
As an Application Support Team Leader/ Application Support Manager you will have ideally worked for an insurance company previously and in an application delivery/ service delivery process.
This role includes being the primary contact for problems and questions related to applications within the Application Delivery Support area - assessing and prioritising new problems; performing analysis where appropriate; assigning tasks to Developers; ensuring that quality assurance procedures are followed and completing periodic written status/ progress reports. You will be responsible for ensuring operational best practice regarding systems/ processes.
This role requires a software professional who is a self starter, proactive in their approach, motivational with excellent communication skills and with a real desire to ensure the best service possible is provided to the business.
My client is paying an annual salary c.£45,000 - £60,000 + benefits including Pension, life assurance, bonus scheme, health insurance, PHI & 23 days holiday and restaurant facilities.
