My client is looking for an accomplished web developer with a proven track record of maintaining web applications using ASP.net, VB.net and SQL Server 2005. The ideal person will be responsible for delivering to our customers an enjoyable and near effortless experience as they use the current booking process.
Ideally degree educated and solid web programming experience gained in a significant systems development environment.
Experience of using API's for communication between key system components would be advantageous.
To be considered you will need experience in all of the following:
- .NET Framework
- ASP.net 2.0
- VB.net (VB7 onwards)
- SQL Server 2000 or onwards (incl Transact - SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, DTS and SSIS)
- XML, CSS/ XHTML
The ideal candidate will possess analytical problem solving skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business personnel. The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and to adapt priorities to business needs are of key importance.
This role is paying between £25000 - £30000 with excellent benefits.
