Technical Architect - UK
New opening for a customer facing Technical Architect with a wide breadth of experience covering infrastructure and hosting/ consolidation (hosted servers, managed backups, disaster recovery, business continuity) solution architecture based around Microsoft Exchange; Server 2003; Active Directory; VMWare & Citrix. In this multi-faceted role you will enjoy involvement in pre sales activity, high end solution design, customer relationship building, handover documentation and acting as technical lead for implementation/ delivery teams, with involvement in a variety of customer sectors to include public and private sector e.g. education, finance, retail, local government.
Ideally we are seeking individuals holding MCSE 2003, VCP and either HP or IBM accreditation however a generous training budget is allocated to all staff and certifications are not essential for those with relevant experience.
Working with a customer base predominantly focused in the Midlands you will have the determination to exceed customer expectations and have held responsibility for the architecture of solutions based around business continuity and hosting (full/ managed or virtual). You will enjoy maximising potential business opportunities liaising with project managers and sales individuals in addition to technical individuals, in a true 'team environment'. You may be based anywhere in the central belt of UK e.g. Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, North East/ North West, East/ West Midlands, Northamptonshire etc - as long as you are comfortable travelling to sites within this area.
