I am looking for a number of experienced PMO consultants to work for a major financial organisation. The successful PMO will work as part of the Programme Management Office and will be responsible for supporting the programme and in acting as the information hub to achieve effective: tracking & reporting; information management; financial control; risks, issues, actions & dependency management; quality management; change control; programme checkpoint reviews; management reporting.
Additional support is required to affect successful programme closure activity.

•Working with the PMO manager and team, the role holder will be responsible for:
•Working with PMs to track & report progress against plan
•Information management
•Liaison with PMs and Finance to ensure financial control in place
•Controlling process for risks, issues, actions & dependency management
•Quality management process and measurement
•Change control process
•Information gathering for programme review checkpoints
•Collating management reporting
•Effect successful Programme closure, following governance rules
•Managing the PMO Admin to ensure effective Programme logistics i.e. meetings and travel
•Supporting the PMO Lead to ensure effective
•Configuration management Resource management
•Deputy for the PMO Lead


SKILLS:
•Financial sector experience
•Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and Word user.
•MS Project experience
•Effective influencer and diplomat
•Exceptional attention to detail
•Previous experience of working with senior management
