JOB LEVEL: Engineer
REPORTS TO: Technical Director
PACKAGE:
Based in Camberley, Surrey.
Salary £25 - £45k – possibility of car allowance
Holiday 25 days per annum
Contributory Pension Scheme (4% employee, 6% employer)
Profit related bonus – up to 20% of salary based on company profitability.
JOB PURPOSE
A unique opportunity to join a successful team in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) market, designing new products and supporting and enhancing existing systems. The role would suit someone with experience of CCTV integration projects and with a wide range of experience or interest in computers/ networking/ communications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
New Product Development
Assisting in general design, integration of 3rd party components, including mechanical and electronic design of new systems.
Prototype installation, testing, debugging, documenting and handover to production partners and installation teams.
Current Product Support
Following procedures to configure and test current products.
Supporting field-based Project Managers with training in new and existing products.
Liaising with sub-contract designers to implement modifications to existing products.
Work/ relevant experience - list all knowledge, management and technical skills and application required.
This position requires self-motivation, the ability to manage several concurrent projects and prioritizing.
Experience of Windows networking.
Experience of CCTV systems, including transmission systems.
Knowledge of TCP/ IP, ISDN, Broadband, GPRS, 3G
Any software engineering experience would be helpful.

Education/ Qualifications - academic/ professional qualifications, evidence of CPD required.
Strong academic background
Minimum: A-level or equivalent
Desirable: Degree (Software/ Electronics/ Engineering subject)
