An exciting opportunity for a principal software engineer is available. The ideal candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline (minimum 2:1 honours).
Typically at least 5 years demonstrated related working experience beyond Bachelor's degree.
Thorough experience of Visual C++ on a Microsoft Windows platform
Thorough experience of real-time multi threaded development on Microsoft Windows in a 24/ 7 environment.
Thorough experience of User Interface development using C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio and MFC.
Detailed experience of implementing DCOM architecture across a Multi-PC environment
Detailed experience of using STL & ATL
Advocate of structured software design methodologies
Good knowledge of the application of configuration management tools, such as Rational
ClearCase and ClearQuest, to software development.
Excellent communications skills in English both written and verbal
