CLAS Consultant - £60k - £70k + benefits. UK Wide.
My client, a leading communications systems supplier for military and civil customers, is looking for an experienced CLAS Consultant. The CLAS Consultant will provide consultancy and advisory services to customers that ensure an excellent outcome from their perspective, whilst demonstrating compliance to all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
Your responsibilities will cover the following;
-To undertake Information Assurance analysis of networks, systems and services including analysis of any proposed or required changes to same.
-To produce Security Policy Documentation and associated Information Assurance deliverables, in accordance with required HMG and MOD security policies and standards;
-To provide guidance and advice on how to maintain security throughout the life cycle of a project, system or service, including the identification, analysis and review of security related risks;
-To keep up to date with changes to Government Information Assurance standards, policies and guidance (HMG, MOD and CESG) and commercial best practice;
-To support the ongoing development of the Information Assurance practice and its market offerings.
Successful candidates must have membership of the CESG Listed Advisor Scheme (CLAS) and will ideally have some of the following skills based certifications; CISSP, SSCP, CISM, CISA, MCSE, CCNA, ISO 27001 ISMS Auditor.
You will have extensive experience within the ICT field, and must have experience of working within a Consultancy (ideally delivering to MOD or Military customers).
