Senior Software Engineer / Developer with expert OO development skills (Java or C++) sought to design and develop highly complex quantitatively driven trading strategies for this highly profitable global investment management company. You should have an aptitude and track record for analytical problem solving and take pride in producing high quality code. You can expect to earn an exceptional salary and bonus.
Requirements:
•Extensive software engineering experience with strong OO design and development skills – preferably with Java or C++
•Strong understanding of the principles of OOA / D, data modelling, database design, data structures and algorithms
•Experience with some or all of the following: Python, Perl, Ruby or Groovy
•SQL Server, Oracle and / or Sybase
•Ability to understand numerical algorithms and statistical models
•Impressive academic record
•Finance experience NOT essential but you should be curious about financial markets and their dynamics
