Leading UK Banking outfit, require 2 senior datawarehouse developers with .Net experience - highly skilled in the Microsoft MIS toolkits.
Banking or non-banking candidates considered - technical leads and MIS experts encouraged.
My client is a preeminent UK Banking organisation looking to strengthen one of their main development teams with an experienced SQL Server/ .Net Data Warehouse Developer. The team primarily services the Middle/ Back Office in the form of management information systems, financial reporting and accounting systems with significant exposure to the downstream trading and credit risk businesses.
The Data Warehouse Developers' role will be to perform substantial software development work using the following: SQL Server 2000/ 2005 and C#/ .Net. MS Access would be an advantage but not essential. Successful SQL Server Developers will work closely with the business units (primarily Finance/ Middle Office) in order to analyse and evolve existing information and requirements, using prototyping techniques. Any experience with Data Modeling and both physical and relational database design would be highly beneficial.
Technically the position requires extensive experience in the use of stored procedures, triggers, complex multi-table joins, cursors etc. Prospective candidates must be proficient in MS SQL Server 2000/ 2005 development and have some experience developing either web or GUI applications in C#/ .Net.
Experience of the following would also be beneficial: DDL and MS SQL Replication DML.
