Desired: Experience with grid computing/ distributed systems, low latency application development, Template Meta-Programming, Boost Libraries, N-Tier Architecture, Posix Threading and Sockets.

Experience in a grid-computing environment, and working with n-tier architectures would be advantageous, as would solid experience of the full development lifecycle. You should have a strong familiarity with modern programming concepts, and be able to work comfortably within a budding team dynamic, where the exchange of ideas is encouraged.
NO PRIOR INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED, though experience with high throughput, high transactional systems would set you at an advantage.
