Senior Engineer - Exchange 2003, XP, Vista, Active Directory, SQL Server 2000, VMWare ESX Server, SAN, RAID, MPLS, IP, VPN, WAN, Firewalls, Security, Data Encryption, Prince 2, Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005
Project Engineer required to work for major professional sector organisation. You will have project experience ranging from Active Directory, SQL, Exchange 2003/ 2007, Server 2003. You will be involved in project engineering focusing on the design and delivery of solutions internally to the company.
You will have exposure to Active Directory, Exchange, Server 2003, VMware, SAN, data encryption, security and firewalls. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a multi-faceted, autonomous function. You will be involved in the planning, design, documentation, estimation of costs and recommendations working closely with the Project Management function. Candidates will have a broad ranging technical experience. Ideally you will have experience working within ITIL or Prince 2. In particular, you will have an understanding of Work Packages as part of Prince 2. You will ideally have experience within the professional sector e.g. Financial sector, accountancy firms and law firms in particular.
Candidates will be team players as well as being able to manage their own workloads effectively working within a fast paced environment. You will have a customer focused approach to tasks undertaken and be focused on efficient delivery of projects. You must be able to make recommendations and have demonstrable ability to improve services and solutions.
This is a permanent role offering a generous salary and benefits package as well as excellent prospects for progression. The role is based in central Leeds and is commutable by public transport.
