Our client is a multinational engineering and design consultancy, providing expertise to help resolve complex challenges presented by the built and natural environment. The Aerospace department is a rapidly expanding part of the company, supplying Rolls-Royce and Airbus UK. Due to growth they are looking for an Avionics Systems Engineer to join their growing aerospace systems team in Bristol.
The Aerospace Systems Engineer will be given the opportunity to provide high quality technical input to their aerospace projects and to develop their systems engineering skills.
Avionics Systems Engineer - Role/ Responsibilities
The main objectives of the following roles are to design, integrate and test the functions.
+ Weight and Balance Computation (WBC)
+ Fuel Integration with Flight Management Systems (FMS)
+ Fuel Integration with Military Mission Management System (MMMS)
+ Fuel integration with Flight Control and Guidance System (FCGS)
Avionics Systems Engineer – Skills/ Experience
+Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Systems Engineering
+ Sufficient Experience in engineering environments relevant to the aerospace sector
Experience in one or more of the following:
+Systems engineering processes
+Aerospace domain knowledge
+Validation and verification
+Systems Interface processes
+Systems Integration
+Safety and reliability appreciation
+Testing methodology and documentation
