Role
We currently have a open vacancy for a talented and ambitious software Architect to join our busy Dublin office. You will be involved in the design and delivery of high end bespoke solutions to a number of our clients.
· Work with Solution Architects to define overall solution concepts and architectures.
· Responsible for detailed design of solutions that are scaleable, resilient, open, efficient, secure, and cost-effective.
· Ensures that all implementation decisions are both technically and commercially viable.
· Produces commercially viable estimates for technical work.
· Leads technical review activities within project.
· Identifies and resolves potential problems as early as possible.
· Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technology developments and standards. Proactively shares knowledge.
Your skills and experience will include:
· Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical environment,
· Demonstrable awareness of business environments into which solutions have been delivered,
· Experience of complete project life cycle, with specific emphasis on design, construction, testing and tools and methods,
· Sound understanding of tools, design methodologies and best practice,
· Strong Technical grounding in Java and Java related technologies,
· Competence in three or more architectures and/ or technologies having successfully applied them in a commercial environment,
· Sound understanding of solutions deployment and operation as well as functionality,
· Sound understanding of security, performance tuning, capacity planning, resilience, and availability across heterogeneous architectures,
· Capable of effective prioritisation of tasks and managing personal time,
· Capable of working with minimal supervision and supervising others.
