My prestigious Cambridge based client requires an Internal Systems Support Specialist to join their rapidly expanding organisation.
Crucially you will have strong experience of Microsoft Exchange Server. Demonstrable experience of a broad range of Microsoft products will also be required, including Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2000/ 2003. Experience with firewall technologies is important, and specific experience with Cisco or WatchGuard firewalls would be highly desirable. Anti-Virus knowledge would be highly desirable, specifically Sophos, however other technologies would certainly be considered. Finally, any experience with back-up technologies, such as VERITAS, and knowledge of Microsoft Terminal Services would be advantageous.
THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT EXHAUSTIVE AND MY CLIENT WILL CONSIDER CANDIDATES FROM ALL MICROSOFT BACKGROUNDS
You will provide support to a wide range of users numbering circa 100. You will combine excellent technical and communication skills, ensuring all SLA's are met and system functionality performs at an optimum level.
