I'm currently seeking a very strong PERL / SYBASE / UNIX Developer for a well renown financial client. The right candidates will have excellent experience of development, using Perl, strong knowledge of Unix, strong development skills in Sybase and good financial knowledge - ideally Fixed Income/ Cash and/ or Derivatives products. Also, we are expecting good middle/ Back Office understating. Above the technical skills, my client is seeking someone with a really "can-do" attitude, a self-motivated team player with an analytical yet creative mind that enjoys working in a busy environment, the candidate will quickly establish themselves in this critical position with the commitment to meet challenging goals. Any experience with Murex would be an advantage in this position. Essential technical experience are: Perl, Sybase, UNIX, Fixed Income or Derivatives Products and Middle/ Back Office (Operations, Finance, Risk, Treasury) experience.
