An excellent opportunity has arisen with a marketing company based in London. My client seeks a Java Analyst/ Programmer on a temp to perm basis. To be considered you must have the following skills: knowledge of developing digital applications, commercial application solution design/ architect knowledge, Technical knowledge: Hands on knowledge in Java, J2SE, J2EE, JSP, JSF, Servlets, HTML/ XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, AJAX, RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, SQLServer, PostgreSQL,
Persistence frameworks knowledge such as JPA (JSR220), Hibernate, TopLink, JDO, testing knowledge such as -Test Plans, White/ Black Box, JUnit, knowledge of XML and XSL including parsing via SAX/ DOM, Design/ Architect knowledge (UML designs/ Use Cases), Working knowledge of Client/ Server (socket) programming, Working knowledge of SMTP (RFC2821) and MIME (RFC2045), Working knowledge of Apache Commons API, Log4j, POI, Working knowledge of Apache Lucene Search/ Index, Knowledge of the following would be advantageous: JCE, Ghostscript, JFreeChart, iText, PDFBox, JPedal. In addition it would be a distinct advantage if you have a BSc in Computing/ Scientific/ Mathematical Subjects.
