Job Role
A leading consultancy requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage major rail projects, primarily from Bristol and Swindon. The portfolio of work is to include permanent way (p way), infrastructure (stations/ bridges/ depots etc) and signalling or M&E projects of varying values.
Salary dependent on experience with benefits including:

Responsibilities
" To take a leading role in setting team objectives and priorities
" To plan and control projects through to completion
" To create a team environment in which everyone is committed to producing a quality outcome
" To gain confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication
" To liaise with other managers to ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service
" To ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business
" To ensure that senior management have qualified information on the progress of each project on a regular basis
